Ania Kłosek is a Polish independent documentary and street photographer. Her journey into photography began with street photography, which shaped her visual language and led to a storytelling approach. This influence remains strong in her documentary work, where she captures raw, unfiltered moments of everyday life, emphasizing human presence within the surrounding environment.

In recent years, she has focused on projects documenting contemporary Ukraine. Her images go beyond mere observation, capturing unique moments of daily life.

Klosek has exhibited her work in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has received prestigious awards such as Grand Press Photo, Slovak Press Photo and the Krzysztof Miller Award for Photojournalists.

She has also served as a juror in major international street photography competitions, including the Miami Street Photography Festival, London Street Photography Festival, Brussels Street Photography Festival, StreetPhoto San Francisco, Pisa Street Photography International Festival, Leica Street Photo, Street photo Milano, Urban Photo Awards and the Moment Street Photography Awards among others.

She is a member of the street photography collective Un-Posed.

She holds a degree in Intercultural Relations from the University of Warsaw and is currently continuing her studies at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava, Czechia.

12. 2018 – Co-creation (together with Damian Chrobak) of the photographic exhibition „Un-Posed – NY” at the Old ZPAF Gallery in Warsaw. Presentation of the „Un-Posed NY” Exhibition and an author’s meeting at the Non-fiction. Documentary Festival in Krakow.
